Hockey Rink Rebuild – Donations

Sandstone MacEwan Community Association is pleased to partner with the Parks Foundation Calgary (PFC) for the receipt & handling of donations of any size relating to the SMCA Hockey Rink Rebuild Project. Online Donations – by Credit Card

It takes 4 simple steps to donate to the SMCA hockey rink rebuild using PFCs online portal.

1. Click on the image or click here above to be taken the PFC donation site (in a new window/tab) & select “**Sport Projects**” – or click here

2. You will be taken to the PFC donation portal – select “**SMCA Hockey Rink**” from the list. **Please make sure this is done before proceeding!**

3. Fill out the form with your donation amount, **frequency**, **personal details** & any **comments** you wish to add.

4. Click on “**Pay by Card**” or “use Wallet”, fill in your card details and send your donation to PFC on our behalf! Thank you!

Offline Donations – by Cheque or Credit Card

Donations can be sent to PFC on SMCAs behalf using this simple process:

Download the PFC Donation form from PFCs website –https://www.parksfdn.com/s/DonationForm2019.pdf
Print the form or confirm you can fill it in using a computer (its in Adobe PDF format)
Ensure you note the donation is for Sport Project & “SMCA Hockey Rink” (see below)
Provide your details, donation amount, donation type
Send the form & cheque (if applicable) made payable to “Parks Foundation Calgary”

Donation Tax Receipts & Further Information

Further information about Parks Canada Foundation, their privacy policy & how they handle donations can be found at https://www.parksfdn.com/donate-now. Policy information relating to tax receipts can be found at their website or by clicking here; in summary:

4. Receipts
All donations made by cheques must be made out to the “Parks Foundation Calgary”. The receipts will be sent to the person who issued the cheque. All donations for which e-mail information has been provided will receive a tax receipt from Parks Foundation, as an Agent of the City of Calgary. If an email address is not provided, only donations of $100.00 or more will receive a tax receipt by mail.
