About our rinks
The SMCA maintains two outdoor rinks within our community, that allow families, friends, grass root sports all to come together – a recreational / pleasure rink (no boards) & a boarded hockey rink (with basketball nets).
Both the recreational & hockey rink will close from time to time to allow for rink cleaning/prep, or for local community groups to use the space for their own activities. Notice of these closures or bookings are posted on this webpage a few days in advance.
All SMCA rink rats are volunteers, none of the rink work is done by the City of Calgary – please consider joining our crew! Contact us at info@sandstonemacewan.com for more information.
